So I guess it’s been kinda customary that I start each post with, long time no see! I can’t believe my last post was in APRIL – although since then, I’ve driven Melbs to Perth with Ken & Cookie, jumped headfirst into two music therapy jobs and been trying to get into a gym routine as well as juggle my various mental health struggles and plan a wedding (no biggie).
The point of this post is to review Nordgreen’s Scandinavian designer watches. I was lucky enough to get my hot little hands on a Nordgreen watch not long ago, and it’s honestly the minimalism lover’s dream. The watches are designed by Jakob Wagner who has been a part of the team of brands such as Bang & Olufsen. There are three different designs to choose from, and I did have difficulty deciding, because they’re all appealingly simple and clean.
Nordgreen is also a start-up I can get behind as they have core values of giving back to the community and social responsibility. For each watch sold, the buyer is able to choose to give back to one of three different causes, using a unique serial number on the back of your watch. Nordgreen has partnered with Water For Good, giving two months of clean water; Pratham Education to give two months of education to a child and Cool Earth, preserving 50 sqm of rainforest. Pretty awesome, I think it’s so important to give back a little no matter how big or small you may be.
I chose the Infinity watch in Silver – 32mm with the mesh strap. The straps are actually interchangeable though, so you can choose to buy multiple straps and switch them around. I love the mesh strap, as it’s breathable, looks really cool and, even though I play guitar and crawl around with kids at work, have found that it doesn’t irritate me or fall down my wrist like other bands have. The 32mm small watch face is modern and sleek, and is much smaller than I’m used to, but makes me question why I’ve always worn such big watches. It’s also very ‘neutral’ because it hasn’t clashed with any outfit I’ve worn.
Well, I think pictures speak louder than words, it’s clearly a beautiful and timeless watch. I love being able to tell the time while looking cuuuute and although this Nordgreen watch was sent to me as a PR sample, however I can safely say that this is my favourite watch I own, even over watches I’ve purchased for $200+ out of my own pocket!!
If you’re interested in seeing/reading more about Nordgreen-
I kinda overdid the watch/time puns on my last post, and I tried to think of a new one, but it was very time consuming & I ran outta time…*sigh*
New posts coming v soon mi amigos,
This post was sponsored by Nordgreen Copnehagen, and the watch was generously gifted to me in return for my creative content, but all opinions are my own. I strive to be honest and upfront to my readers and my relationship with you guys is way more important than money!
