JORD Wood Watches: A Stylish Tree-t!

Okay well straight off the bat, sorry about the pun in the title #sorrynotsorry. I couldn’t help myself, I’m just acorn-y person πŸ˜€

So, I have had the opportunity to work with JORD wood watches and I am thrilled! I have recently gotten back into wearing a watch, and have a shiny silver and a pretty pink, but I’ve never owned a wooden watch before. I had a huge selection to choose from, but decided on the ‘Frankie’ style in dark sandalwood and emerald. It gave me dark, sultry, masculine vibes and I’ve been digging jewel tones coming into Autumn (for those of us in the Southern hemisphere!)

This watch, when it arrived was packaged beautifully. It looks high class and is obviously made to last. I was pleased to know that JORD watches uses natural wood, without the use of any nasty chemicals to treat the wood. The clasps are also stainless steel. I do have sensitive skin to jewellery sometimes, but I’ve worn this watch a few days in a row now and haven’t had any issues.

With Mother’s Day coming up, I was thinking about making a gift guide and these beautiful wooden watches would definitely make the cut as a ‘good daughter’ gift. I’m super excited that I’ve actually got the opportunity to host a giveaway for a $100 gift voucher to go towards your very own stylish JORD wood watch (or even one for a special mum or grandma)! Every person who enters will also get a little sneaky discount off their purchase just for entering, so hey, nothing to lose πŸ™‚

Without further ado, CLOCK HERE TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY!

(You know I meant click but that was actually a typo that I decided to keep in there…)

This giveaway ends on the 6th of May, so get entering!

Reveal the inner you!

To coincide with the exciting launch of PANDORA’s new ESSENCE Collection (which I wrote about previously) of 24 sterling silver hand-finished charms representing values we hold, PANDORA has enlisted Australian-bred music/film director Kinga Burza as an ambassador for the ESSENCE range. She has directed clips for big names such as Katy Perry, James Blunt and Marina & The Diamonds and lives in Paris. Check out this awesome vid of her, isn’t she gorgeous!

http://v5.tinypic.com/player.swf?file=2ahha2q&s=5

Kinga speaks so elegantly about Joy, and obviously the Joy charm she is wearing resonates deeply within her.

The ESSENCE Collection is about making a modern statement combined with expressing lasting, personal values, what a unique way to express your inner values and dreams!

I’ve also put together a PANDORA ESSENCE Pinterest board of some inspiration for the Essence values and collection, click through and see!

PANDORA ESSENCE Collection has been available in concept stores since November 4, 2013. Check your local store to see if they have the new charms in!

Don’t forget to enter to win your very own PANDORA ESSENCE charm bracelet + 3 charms, CLICK HERE πŸ˜‰

I love designer jewellery. I also love contests and giveaways.
Now that tee+fame blog has reached 400 friends on GFC I think it’s time to combine the two and give a little something back to my loyal followers!

THE DARK HORSE is an online jewellery boutique focusing on selling jewellery from around the globe.
The boutique is influenced by the beauty surrounding us, aiming to make unique, niche and international
designer pieces attainable. The awesome thing about this store is that it is offering a take home lay-by system,
which means you can pay off an item while you wear it! I’m personally crazily obsessed with being able to
lay-by stuff, I think it’s an awesome invention!

The jewellery we wear tells a story of who we are, where we have been or who we want to be.
THE DARK HORSE will defs have the right piece of jewellery for you to express who you are πŸ™‚

beginning boutique: it’s beachin’!

Beginning Boutique has just launched their second Spring lookbook entitled It’s Beachin’, and boy does it make me wanna hit the sand and the surf. Soooo good. Seriously the bright block colours, bare legs, sparkles, baggy tees/tanks and naturally voluminous hair makes me yearn for those carefree Summer days we haven’t had so far!!
Let’s hope the weather heats up for us in Melbourne, and soon. I wanna get beachin’!

ALSO: Beginning Boutique is giving away a $500, yes $500 It Girl wardrobe!!
Don’t forget to “like” B.Boutique on Facebook to enter this amazing competition!! Too good.

StyleTread – Shoe Heaven!

Hey guys,

So remember my post about THE leopard wedge boot from STYLETREAD from a few months ago? Well I’m back to wax lyrical about shoes again!

STYLETREAD, one of my favourite online shopping destinations, has this To-tal-ly AWESOME comp going on at the mo: win $2000 worth of shoes, now what girl wouldn’t want to win this?? All you have to do is let them know why you want to win, and what your fave shoes are.

Here’s my pick:

Soles – Boot This (in Orange Digital Aztec)

These shoes are to die for..they combine the chic classy chelsea boot with the totally on trend neon bright of orange plus my fave print ever – aztec print!

And as to why I want to win $2000 dollars of shoes? Well…let’s just say that I haven’t bought a new pair of shoes since I bought my black formal pumps last year in June. I mean, being a uni student who is also moving out, I am on a limited budget, and I have been forced to trawl Savers, op-shops and vintage stores and (gasp) my mother’s wardrobe for my shoe indulgence…oh my poor poor feet! Winning this competition would change all that. A stunning array of new on-trend foot coverings would be bliss for my tootsies! And then I might be more tempted to do outfit posts for you guys, instead of being embarrassed about my second-hand shoe porn!
