STREET-ART HANGS

Everyone knows how cool Melbourne city is – it’s know for its alleyways and grungy graffiti and secret bars hidden in small lanes. But who knew that even suburbia was full of gems like a giant Putin face and the oh-so-memorable saltbae meme? I found these quirky pieces and couldn’t resist a bit of a photo shoot (even though my hair was in messy rushed no-mirror braids).

Absolutely love taking photos with pretty or interesting street art. I’ve always personally enjoyed colours and different things to look at rather than just white walls. In the same way I am naturally drawn to patterns, textures and prints in outfits as well. For a while I really thought I could do the whole monochrome thing that so many bloggers and fashionable people do – the black, grey, white and denim wardrobe looks so effortlessly cool and I kidded myself that I wanted to be like that too. But I think in actual fact my style is Gorman and stripes and fluffy jumpers and silver boots and I think I’m gonna try and let that out more in my wardrobe and on the blog!

Hope you guys will appreciate it. I think I’m really feeling the need to be authentic these days and hey, I think I’m slowly figuring it out as I go along.

Have a great week guys!
